It would help, but it would not be the answer to the problem. Rising medical costs are no doubt a factor in the cost of insurance, but putting a fee schedule in place and calling it a day doesn’t provide the fundamental reform that comes through consumer choice. Eliminating the government mandate and empowering drivers is the long-term solution to this problem.
